Long antique french copper roasting pan / tray ideal for larger ovens. Classic french cookware a real rare item and hand made by a artisan. The tray is formed from a single piece of 2mm approx copper sheet, dovetail jointed to corners. Good tin lining, ready to use. Both ends are stamped with the initial T this denotes the owner or establishment. Artisan made in France in the early 1800s and used for roasting and baking larger items in a restaurant or chateau kitchen environment. This is a very versatile item that can also be used in todays modern larger type ovens. Fitted with two iron handles that are firmly fixed with four copper rivets to each side.
